kdepim-runtime software package provides runtime components for Akonadi KDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdepim-runtime
kdepim-runtime is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdepim-runtime package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdepim-runtime *
You will get with kdepim-runtime package name, version, architecture and description in a table
